    the s/w download failed for me first time when i didnt factory reset so i'd say its necessary alright.Do a channel upload aswell to save ur current setup and download to ur eurovox after the s/w download.U need to do a factory reset after download of s/w aswell

    Are you series iona you need to do a factory reset after you download the software too ? why is this ?

    I updated to latest frmware i did a factor reset beforehand but not after i put the software on !! ?

    Steve, ive been doin this as well and its workin no probs, either way a factory reset seems necessary i presume.

    You should not have to do factory reset as the loader does this for you.I have reflashed alot of boxes with the new firmware on blue/red and black with no problems at all.I am using the DnUpman loader.

    What’s all the fuss about factory reset. All that is required is to update the firmware, reload the cdf and that’s it.
