Is it working now ? If not you will need to leave it on the channel (sky sports) to update to the code.

 

hi all,I have a eurovox max red box for the last few months and i was just wondering will i need a Serial Null Modem Cable at any stage in the future and for what will i need it. might i need to update to the 08 software that is out at the moment? any help would be great, thanks!

I have the 2007 version for the last few months but the channels disappeared two weeks ago and i only managed to get 51 back by scanning frequencies from 200-770 with 6887 symbol rate throught a power scan. When i do an auto scan i still get the same channels.
Any advice on how to get the rest of them back?

Oh and i'm in Dublin using n*l

 

Try this:

All you have to do is a re scan
N*L have changed frequencys on 18/07/07, not codes
Go to user installation put in password 1004 go ok
press red button and wait for scan
That should be it.

if scousers advice doesnt work i suggest you use a channel dump,(thats a downloaded copy of the channels on someones box in your area, (dublin )with a null modem cable to connect to your pc ,you use a program called dnupman or voxer to copy the channels to your box then autoscan and you should be ok

These should work if not do a normal scan from,

200.100 --> 400.100 with 6887.0


Or as Frank said a channel dump would be the next thing.

 

You have no transponders.Just do a power scan,6887 symbol rate.You should get 13 transponders and 140 channels.

 

hi, just got a eurovox max,came in a red box(dont know if thats relevant!)im in dublin city centre running it off n*l basic digital yet it keeps cutting out on me saying no signal, one minute its fine the next its gone (the signal strength is always at 84-85) VERY frustrating!! Any ideas how to fix this? got no cables or software with it !! Thank You!

 

I have a eurovox 2008 and am on Chorus in Navan. I have the cable connected into the RF In and then scart from my box to the TV. When I switch mybox on it says "No Signal". Why is this and what can I do to get around it? When I do a powerscan the level and quality rate is fairly high, roughly around 80%. All the freq's are correct and so is the 6875. I don't know whats happening, but I would appriciate any advice at all. Thanks in advance

I have the eurovox max v. I've installed the firmware and have found the channels but i just get an imformation box sayin "please wait, code being update" its been like that for over 12 hours, can anyone tell me how to sort this

 

Just leave the box switched on at that channel.It should sort itself out.

 

Can someone please help me, if this box doesn't work can i use a diffrent one? I was reading through the forum and it says something about MMDS and chorus does not support it I think. I just keep getting no signal on the box when I switch it on, and then when I go to power scan, it does but never finds any channels.

 

Eurovox will not work on C***** MMDS as it uses DVB-T, it will work on N** MMDS as they utilise DVB-C, which is the same as the tuner on the Eurovox.

 

hey man i just got the eurovov max v 2008 yesterday but cant get it to work, any chance you might be able to show me how you did, i live in dublin too

 

put it on sky sports one and it should update in less than five minutes
