file downloaded whats next do i need the file to run this update

ok have you put that file i gave you on the box with connecting the cale to the pc to the box

 

have you got the link to the file for to transfer that file, does it matter if it is a RAR file if so how do i fix it

 

just go in and open the file in the rar and press the top download button by the way before you do make sure u have set a factory default on the box in menu

 

i cant transfer that file its just saying (invalid firmware file)
im using dnupman v4.2(dvbc_fav8)

Sorry scouser only seen your msg i didnt bother trying the 18/4 thought there might be a install issue foor that firmware so didnt really bother but your saying the AU is alot faster using it

 

Guess the OP doesnt have a Max V Ogg Say its a Blue or Red. Yep the 18/04/08 firmware updates in a minute or less.

 

Sweet Scous must try it out have tryed the 28/4 on that messed up box works hmmmmm but still not right My suppiler seems to be a bit of a knobjocky about it so i felt not to send it back just not to buy F**K all more from him

 

BTW have you tryed the Eurovox Max-V 2008 + HDDDVD RECORDER are they any good

 

Yep Ogg the 18/04/08 is great sometimes dont even know the codes have updated The later Kuro update was specifically for people with the 8% problem, the Kuro guys told me it should work on most boxes with the problem but others may have a hardware fault. You can actually use it on any Max V but the 18/04/08 one is the recommended one

BTW your supplier doesn't sound like the best, better off changing I would say. As for the EV + HD, its bogus to a point as its basically two separate boxes and Eurovox are not affiliated with it. From what I have been told the true HD model is put on hold until there is more demand for it. However there is a Eurovox PVR box to come soon

 

Strange you say that cause i have only seen it on one site that we would both visit i thought why others werent sending out adverts on it

I know I may be asking the same question as a lot of other people but my eurovox max is just saying "NO SIGNAL" for the past few days just wondering does it need to be updated and if so where do I get the firmware?
The last software I put on it was

hi lads OGG have downloaded **DNUPMAN v4.2(DVBC_FAV8)** and
**UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08** i dont think i have a max v it just sez on the box EURO-VOX max are those files compatable for it
