right if it downloaded for ya put this channel dump file on just download it to your desktop then open the dupman file you did your fiirst update with and browse to desktop and press the bottom download button this time it will only take about 3 sec to cross over then connect it to your tv and let it update

hi lads sorry to see codes will not be shown again. have been reading some of this and the starview thread as one of those who has not updated box because at first reading it seemed easy then people started talking about clones etc with only a very slight knowledge about computers and technology I have been scared away from trying it I do reckon that if I saw it done then next time it might be ok but not sure were to turn now?

 

Winnie .. It is easy enough to do and we can help you step by step if you get stuck

First we need to know what b0x you have and then we can direct you to the correct download.

You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.

Null Modem Cable

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

HI Celtic,
I have the max v (Black one) and the eurovox max with the silver front (Red Box) both were saying "updating signal" for a couple of days and now they say "no signal" I'm guessing this means I need to update the boxes can you please help???

Hi guys

Just wondering what I need to do. One of the guys from my house tried to update the software on my eurovox. But now all that is coming up on my screen is "Channel not currently availabe". I tried to do a fast install but to no avail as there are no channels. also my signal strength is only 8% when doing the fast install. Can I do anything to it? Its a eurovox max 2008

You maybe need to flash it with the 28/4/08 image to sort the issues out

 

Ok thanks oggnogg. Does anybody have a link for the firmware UFL for the 28/o4/08 as I have only got a link to the UFL dated the 18[04/08.
Is there any way of getting the n*l codes just for tonight because i won't be able to get the null modem cable until tomorrow. I know that this is against the rules but I have tried to update the box but it just isn't working. And won't be able to update it again till tomorrow. Thanks
