Eurovox max security

You need to clear your channel data first and then download the CDF.

1. Press menu, config, clear data.
2. Press Erase All Channels.
3. Press OK.
4. Exit all the way out.
5. Put EV in standy and download CDF.
6. After download completes go to Sly Sport and let it update.

BTW you should have used the 18/04/08 firmware, the firmware you have will do though.

I downloaded the CDF then cleared the data then did a powerscan. Which probably defeated the whole purpose of downloading the CDF in the first place.

So what you are saying is that I don't need to do a power scan at all after downloading the CDF is that correct?

 

Yep correct Just do as I said above but clear channel data first and the download the CDF, not the other way round.

 

So after downloading CDF go back to Sky sports and let it update automatically. I don't have to go to Menu, Installation User installation, I just leave it as if i'm watching sly sports is that correct?

hi neighbour downloaded firmware yesterday just checking have they rolled today if yes then i know my box is fixed thanks

 

Why don't you check it out and see if it updates, what box and firmware ? (Not heard of anything)

 

eurovox blue 2006 firmware 18-4-08 it is working now but houw will i know when they roll

 

Well when they do and you are watching, you will see a blue banner saying "please wait ***** being updated" - but if you want to try it go from sly sp**s 1 - Menu and OK an Language Settings four settings appear - type 1968 two more settings appear - type 1968 again and key's appear, press the appropriate coloured button for Default Key and exit out to sly spo*ts 1 and see if it updates. Haven't got a blue to hand, it is the yellow button on the black, probably same but check okay.

It is best practice not post any codes on 'any' thread. By doing this you are putting the thread in risk of being closed due to legal reasons, and a lot of people whom do not visit other sources would generally be fuc*ed for information.
