Hi have a starview can't get codes anymore will the '07 updates sort out the box because I was cut off again

 

dont no about 07 updates but if you want to update your box have a look in the starview folder under my pic

Hey scous a quick one i got a few boxes to sort earlyier strange looking on package and parcel meant to be 2008 boxes when going to sysm info there was 2007 software plus the box it came in was pure white and it said on the back of the box on a sticker (REFURBISHED)Howz that sound to ya even the remote batterys were dead ffs

 

Refurbished??? Now thats strange have they come from SlyBoss per chance?

 

Well to be honest they werent payed for but on the package it had Saudi Arabia airlines lol

 

Just wondering if someone could help me. I have the eurovox (red box) and downloaded the firmware software from 18/04. I bought the Null Modem cable from maplins today order no: L71BT (think thats the one I needed) and connected it to the pc and box.

When I ran the software and clicked the download key I got an error message saying 'This firmware is not fit for your receiver'

What does this mean?? Does anyone know what I can do, or what im doing wrong?

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks for that. Im after opening the box and comparing everything to the clone and my own seems genuine, everything matches the pictures.

Just looking for the blue software but before I do so...we're pretty certain we have a red one, do you still think it might work?

Ok, i've downloaded it but before I try and install it should I hook the box up to the tv and check setting or anything like that or is it ok just to go ahead?
