First of all make sure you do not have a clone box, Check here,

Once you have checked that providing you do not have cloned box download the firmware FOR THE RED here,

They are as per an EV 8Mhz step scan and are not specific to a subbed box.

just switched on my box (eurovox black 2008) and have lost some of my stations they were on tp 395.000 mhz. i have tried to add tps from 300.000 - 399.000 mhz but still not getting any signal on them.anyone got any ideas how i can get stations back.thanks in advance

 

Hi guys - downloaded the software for black Eurovox max V a few weeks ago and its been working fine up until last nite - got the usual "code updating" message on all channels (except rte 1,2tv3 etc)

Anyone else have this problem???

 

yes the codes go when the codes go no matter wether you updated your box or not,switch it to a premier channel ie sly movies and it will autoroll for you.

 

try a manual scan on 395,menu installation user installation,ch edit(green button)-red button(add) input the frequency you want then your symbol rate, press ok,exit once press ok on the frequency you've just added then press manual scan(blue button).

where are you if your n'l ireland you could do a factory reset and then load scoucers cdf from eamos library

 

In b/fermot n'l:new to this so could you please explain what to do and what i need.

 

try and do a power scan from 290 mhz to 420mhz symbol rate 6,887 and you should get all your channels back

 

Done that still have'nt all channels back only got 12 tps out of 13

 

try another manual scan on 394mhz if you are missing 395.

 

No still not picking anything up.

 

go back a page and look for sc0ucers post with the frequencies and check them against yours,it may be just a problem in your area.

 

Ballyfermot has a weak signal on that specific TP use a booster and that should pull it in.
