I get my boxes from a reputable seller and had the same problem with the signal in city centre(D7)

 

Can anyone help me i have recently purchased a eurovox max 2008 the black box. When i do the power scan no channels are coming up. I am subscribed to n*l and live in the renfrewshire area of Scotland. My cable is plugged into the rf port on the box. Does anyone know if the Frequency codes have changed. Please help

 

Hi make sure when you do a power scan make sure you change it from normal to full good luck .

Vardrus tanx for the tip. Yeah my unit is the genuine thing alright after looking at that site.I I opened it up and all the PCBs are the same as the photos from the website)
Barm is from the same area code as myself so it may be n.l's signal coming in .I think i'll try getting a booster signal during the week and see if that does the job.
After messing about with it a bit more most of the stations come on alright for a few secs but then start breaking up and eventually no signal pops up.

Anything else you can think of that i should try ??

hi all new here,i have a euro-vox 2007 i made a big bo bo i cleared data frome my config lost all the channels now keeps telling me no transponder to scan any help is welcome thank you

 

i wiped mine the other day aswell and a power scan only brought back the first 5 freq's for me so i had to manually enter the other freq's in user installation menu.
Auto scan didn't do anything for me as there was no freq's in the units menu to scan
When you are in installation - user installation menu go to ch edit, select add and enter freq details all have the same symbol rate 6.887Mbaud
The 13 freq's are 291,299,307,315,323,340,348,356,364,372,380,388,395

Save them all and hopefully you should be good to go.

 

I am no expert on this only putting in what worked for me , most of the transponders from here except for the last few which give the sky channela, am stuck at the moment
with discovery turbo as it wont update

 

Bud 162,is it 108 channels you are getting?

 

I am getting 94 channels , if you check what you are getting some are duplicates

 

Can't as not in Limerick anymore,tested it in a friend's house,but your box did scan 108 channels didn't it?

 

Yes but there were some duplicates , box is working great now except for discovery turbo which wont update, must phone ch**** and see how many channels they have , all in all very happy as this was my first go

 

I saw an official box and it had 100 channels on it,maybe some duplicates there also.

 

I also have tried the eurovox in limerick city.Received 108 channels
but missing a few basic ones such as BBC1 and BBC2 and ITV.Is there
anyone receiving these channels in limerick.
