Eurovox max security

Never went on me strange alright.

 

Hi reverted back to kuro 18/04 all cables are secure, the coaxil is in rf in on the box and scart is in tv scart on the box. No splitters on line either. Set box back up deleted factory setting and did powerscan on 6887 but it just cycles through the frequencies and wont find any transponders. When i manually input a freq say 391, 415 etc the signal strength is only about 8-15%, have turned signal booster on also but no help with that Any other suggestions thanks.

 

If you add the broadband/phone package with CHO*US in dublin, will the eurovox max 2008 still work? I was told that it wouldnt work anymore because you get a new digital connection. thks

ok try this courtesy off sc0ucer (cheers buddy stealing your stuff again)-OK but without seeing the box its quite hard to go through it. Suffice to say flash it with the older Max V firmware dated 15/10/07, (only this one no other), then reflash with the 28/04/08 firmware and do a factory reset, rescan/update channels or load a CDF. Now after that you need to use a 9Db attenuator, this is what sorts out the tuner issue.

There is a CDF in Eamos for N** also.

 

I had the same problem from using the new software and what scoucer sais is correct reset the box use the old oct07 update then reset again then flash with 28/04/08 put an cdf file on the box and even with the cdf on it reset again and do an avanced scan 0n 6887 sometimes it takes 2 or 3 so;s to get it on or sometimes says no signel and takes a few min to pop on

Have same issue here. I am in Cork and not affiliated to any provider but have MMDS aeriel installed. Installed the box and getting no transponder message when i do a power scan. When i check the providers when i go into the language menu using 1968 twice i do not see any entries for Choxxus. Should there be one there? is this my prob and how do i get around this?

 

do you have the eurovox TX?

 

can anyone reccomend a good supplier online for a eurovox max.. my last one does not seem to sell anymore..thanks in advance

It's been a while since i've posted so apologies if this question has been asked & answered before . I upgraded a couple of months ago and have no pros since but recently a few channels have no signal (service unknown), Sky1 E4+1 Channel4 Sky2 Film 4 & Film4+1

Clear old data and do a full power scan

 

yes. i have the eurovox tx mmds receiver

 

Try this :

Menu > Installation > 1968 or 1004 > User Installation >
Power Scan
Start = 200.00
Stop = 460.000
Symbol Rate = 6875
Press OK to start scan

See if you get any ch@nnels that way

Make sure your cable is plugged into the RF IN Socket and not the antenna port

you still have to have a basic subscription as far as i know

my mates box has just completely switched off no lights nothing but what does happen is that when the power cable is connected and switched on it gives a hissing sound from the left side of the box. can anyone help.

 

sorry the box is the new eurovox max v 2008

 

sounds likes its died mo5afda,it will propably need to be jtagged,have you tried it with another lead first though.
