do i need to do an update on my box as it only has jan 25 s/w on it
i also cant get itv 2 or 3 on 307 freq. done another autoscan still no luck i haven't had them from the start. i have 140 stations at present. i'm in the dublin west area on nthell

 

thanks for the advice, do i also need to update the firmware as well as the software on the box?

what loading software should i use, and also have i got any way of backing up the current software already on the box? the box was inexpensive but i do travel quite a lot to the uk and it proves a god send in many hotels i dwell in with only bbc 1 and 2 via analog!!!

Interesting idea but even though the chipsets are the same the firmware is totally different as is the tuner and emulation so sorry to say it will not work.

You cannot receive ITV 2 and 3 in Ireland and 140 channel on N** in Dublin is your maximum amount of channels.

 

tuner and emulator according to a data sheet i tracked down are the same, as is every single spec listed in the back of each instruction books

 

Yes but the firmware has a different setup (hex eeprom and emm codes) and your tsop (bios) chipset is totally different.Data sheets can be quite ambiguous. I am just giving you advice but you are in your own rights to experiment away.

Sorry scouser mate, downloaded the file, DNUPman will not load it as it is not a bin file, is there another downloader for it?

the DNUPman is not recomended as a downloader any more for eurovox max V . you should use the new ufl....

 

Ok , I will try help you but I have mine connected to a DVD Recorder lol

Basically you will need 3 scart leads

1. EV to TV
2. VCR to TV
3. EV to VCR

Also I have a coaxial cable going from EV to VCR

Put the VCR channel on the TV ( AV1 , AV2 etc)
(My EV is on AV1 and my DVD recorder is on AV2)

You will only be able to record what you watch on the EV
When you put the VCR station on the TV , change the stations on the EV and see if they change , then try record

 

That October update is shite really im not getting all the channels as from the september update Missing a fair load

upload the 'Dub100907R1' from eko.4
and 'nthelldub180707'

 

do you use dnupman to download this file to box and will it bring back missing ch

Hi all

I have used oct(kuro) software on a new box MaxV but wont work for me. Only picking up 5 transponders!
Its for a friend of mine.Is there any way of fixing this problem, or blanking box and replacing with sept software?

 

Mainamn, I need a loader for the 2007 box for the Oct update, its a RAR file that scouser gave me.
