Your jtag will arrive with full instructions and the black tsop, so essentially if you are successful you can put the latest Kuro Beta 2 update on your box. I have put this in the Eurovox firmware folder, in Eamos FTA Libray at the bottom of my post.

Thanks Scouser, bit reluctant to flash with kuro beta, ive been using first kuro firmware, too many comments about boxes crashing if not flashed right with kuro beta so i think ill keep it as simple as possible for now. Thanks and ill let you know how i got on tomorrow.

Honestly Kuro Beta 2 is the best firmware you could possibly use.

Scouser im not doubting you or anything like that but im just very weary of this jtagging thing and want to crack it, and get the box up and running as quick as i can without any hicups, if all goes well ill then move over to beta, as i said in a previous comment im not very technically minded,(bit over the hill) if you know what i mean.

Know, Beta, when previously updating firmware i went, clear data and erase channels, ok , and then factory default, ok. Do i do the same with this firmware, ive already uploaded the channels to my pc in the beta firmware file.
