Eurovox max security

Hi Scouser,

Sorry for not getting back sooner. I sorted it. I hadn't changed the setting to emu on. it works great now. i was seting it up for a friend.one more question. i have a eurovox and it has a slot for a card. can i use it for my sattelite connection? Dublin nthell

The Eurovox is only for cable not for satellite sorry.

 

Its easy enough just read this thread and you will find the firmware and guides in Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post.

 

i've posted this question before but have never got an answer im in limerick on the c****s with eurovox max v. i have all the channels but can never get the wwe ppv. i have 2 ppv channels. one ppv football which is obselete and the other is ppv but just shows the playboy channel.

Can anyone help me?

to add these freq's you need to
go to installation
green button for ch edit
red button add channel
enter freq and symbol rate 6875
press ok, then repeat these steps till all freqs added. when they're all in press exit and go back to first page of install menu. press the red button for auto scan. will do a scan an all the freqs entered and should hopefully give you 138 channels.

are these the freq you use cos there not mine, some of those freq do not pick up anything and some are only 1 off a freq i use.

Hi you may call me lazy but it will save me time can anybody guide me to the latest safe firmware for the Eurovox red 2007 please?

 

Depends on wheter you have a clone or genuine box, pre June firmware is save for a clone box and obviously all firmware is fine for a genuine box. You can find info on genuine/clone boxes in the SV EV Info link and the end of my post. All firmware can be found in Eamo FTA Library also at the bottom of my post.

 

Frequencies seem to differ in Limerick are you on Ch**** or N** and are you on MMDS, (Aeriel on roof), or true cable?

 

Just try a scan on 291.000 and see if all works u dont actually have to do the scan before u go scanning u will see if the bar go's green or red

i,m in limerick city on c****s cable.freq 291.000 on 6.875 is red for me.

i have about 140 channels give or take one or 2. but i cannot get the sky ppv channel. i dont think c****s ever displayed a ppv channel, u could bever get the wwe ppv events afaicremember

im still waiting on bud162 to answer me if he can get the channel.

 

Try 387.000 see ihat works other thn that i see N** and C*****s Only have one digit between them on the freg so try eithier side of it

The amount of channels you have is correct. The PPV channel is named as that exactly on Ch**** cable, you will only see the event when it is broadcast, (although of late it has also been showing looped box office films pre and post event).

Amount of info on Limerick isnt great, also try a manual scan on 444.000.

DCTV is on the PPV channel the whole time Dublin City tv.
Its on freq 364

Can you tell me your amount and list of transport streams, (list of frequencies), you will find them by pressing menu, installation, user installation, with that info I may be able to verify if you can/cannot get certain channels. Even better would be your latest CDF.

 

Dctv is always on mine too (it used to be porn)???
