i finally received 13 tp with 6972 symb and also got 140 chnl. however, there were not any SKY chanl. and the frqcy were totally diferent with somebody else. when i used symb 6887 to do the power scan, didnt catch any frqcy. can u help me? thnks.(i am in stoke-on-trent, uk , west midlands)

 

my 13 tp is:

symbo rate: 6.952
frqc: 275,283,291,323,371,379,387,395,411,419,427,435,443,451.

and got 108 chnl. but, no any of sky chnl.
can someone help?

 

You will not receive sly one in the UK or sly sports news. Your frequency list looks like an Ireland tp list. If you are on telepest or exC&* you need to do a power scan on 6952. Best thing to do is a full powerscan rather than a normal one. Make sure you are plugged directly into the incoming feed and take away any splitters while you are doing the scan.

You need to clear your channel data before doing a powerscan, press menu, config, and clear channel data.

in my home, the main feed connect with a 2 way spliter. one is for vir**n tv, another is for internet. so, i have to use that spliter and connect the one cable to the receiver.
also, i have done the full power scan, still the same. the factary default setup have 2 symbol rate: 6952 and 6875. when i chose 6952to do the full power scan, i can get 13 tp with 108 chnl but no sky. if i use 6875 to do the full power scan, i receive nothing.

do u mean i can not receive any sky channel in the UK? thanks again.

 

No you can receive all sly movies and most of the sports channels. You should be receiving a lot more channels though, (have a look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_channels_on_Virgin_Television ), have you cleared channel data and done a full powerscan as I said above?

i tried again last night.do the power scan with symb6952 from 100 frq to 800frq. and i received 26tp, some of them with frqcy of 600.i have all the chnl now. so,if somebody in my area, do rememebr scam up to 800frqcy.

I dont think it should find EVX TX_H_071123 automatically.There are
2 boxes on top of loader,1 says firmware,the other says channels.
Make sure to click on firmware,then browse to where you have the
EVX TX_H_071123 bin file.Click execution,it then should show you
a download meter bar.When it reaches 100% it will then start writing
the firmware.When this is finished it will say download complete.

 

Thanks for your help Phil, i got it sorted, i choose com 2 and it downloaded successfully, installed it as well and picked up 83 channels and 19 radio stations,Cheers.

how can i have the subtitle for the chnls? the chnl tell me have the subtitle. when i press text key, two option come out, i chose english, but still no work.

I have just uploaded channel dump file to Eamos Library.It is in

can anyone help have eurovox max 2007 died after update jtag it and it came back to life reloaded the firmware but all that happens now turn it on great starts up in standby with clock press the power button channel 2 shows on the screen but it wont move. it is transmitting something to the tv because when you turn it on the tv changes to av but nothing shows up need help, chhers

 

You sure it aint something simple like your scart cable

 

Ogg he sent me a pm and I have told him what to do, it happens sometimes after jtagging, this is my reply below:

Happens all the time, your scart output needs to be reset:

1) Connect Eurovox to TV using TV/VCR aerial connection on back of box with a coax lead.
2) Plug Eurovox into mains and switch on.
3) Tune in a spare channel on your TV until you see the Eurovox.
4) You will see a request to enter a PIN – use the master PIN 1004.
5) Enter Menu and go to ‘Config’.
6) Go to ‘Clear Data’.
7) Enter PIN – 1004
8) Go to ‘Factory Default’, click OK.
9) Click on your Symbol rate, either Symbolrate(6887 for N**, 6875 for Ch**us or 6952 for others).Press OK.
10) Click OK when the warning comes up.
11) Exit and then load your ‘Channel File’

That will be it
