Anyone help. Recently got a friend in Navan a TX and it worked great, he is on CHXXXX MMDS, now his mate wants one and he says he has no ariel on roof or decoder but says he is on CHXXXX, does this mean he is on annalogue and therefore the TX OR MAX V wont work in his area? any help greatfully accepted.

The MAX V will work going on what your saying it would be the same going into the RF_IN socket and doing a power scan at 6875 if that dont work a manual scan will work putting the freg in one at a time which doesnt take long

Thanks OGG. Since i posted that query i have been back to Navan and tested the tx, and have it sussed out. By the sound of you i think you should hit the sack. Im trying to stay awake for the fight here with a few beers, the more posts that come in the better chance i have of staying awake.

Hi all, I'm looking for some help on the Eurovox Max and despite some very good info on this forum I can't see an answer.

I have the box about a month and it worked fine for about 3 weeks (on N*L Dublin) but in the last week the picture has started to distort and then eventually disappear with a "no signal" message for about 5 minutes before reappearing and working as normal again. It has progressively gotten worse to the point where it goes every 30mins or so.

Any suggestions on how to fix this - is it hardware, software, connection, etc?

    Appreciate any help.

Hi Guys, Sorry if this question has been asked already. I live in the Kilcock area in Kildare and we get MMDS Ch***s, but I don't have an ariel on my roof but there is a general transmitter for the area. Just wondering if anyone has found a receiver to work in this area? Or any ideas what boxes work for this type of mmds?
    Thanks!

How are you receiving MMDS without an aerial? The TX will work on Ch**us digital MMDS.

What firmware is on the box? Press, menu, config and system info to find out.

Good question, i presume I must have an ariel somewhere but I don't see it on the roof, I was not there when they installed the Cho**s digital but there must be a small ariel somewhere, i may take a trip up to the roof to see if its there? Anyway, thanks for the info, The TX is the box I need, any particular site the best to buy from or should I just do a search. Thanks again.
