Hold on, it seems now that the October software is still not working properly and channels such as E4 ITV2 FILM 4 are all still poor quality and freezing.

I have tried everything to get them to work but no luck.

I am now going to go for the EUROVOX_MAX_RED_BOX_15_03_07.bin update for the red box

However it is a BIN file and i do not how load this firmware on my box and i only have used UFL's before.

Could anyone please tell me a step by step guide od how to load the firmware to my red box?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

Go to menu, user installation, and post the average signal level/quality you have over all your tps.

Average quality and level and quality is 92% which is rare.

Before it was a standard 83%. Now i have loaded new software channels are freezing under 530 frequency!

Your signal strength is way too high, this will cause the problems you are having a 9Db attenuator will solve this for you, as per my earlier link. So for a quid problem solved :) All you do is plug it between the EV and coax cable.

Yes you can get them in Mapling but they are dearer, anywhere between 9 to 12 Db will do based on your signal strength. Sorry I have to leave, but this will solve your problem.

I would advise you not to use a loader program like Dnupman or Voxer like what you are talking about. It was these programs that was causing the boxes to pack in and need Jtagging.Use the UFL loader. There is 1 for the red box.
