Eurovox max security

What type of existing box do you have? If its a local cable network,it could be the terrestrial system you are using ie its being picked up on an aerial and then piped to a housing estate?
Do you have a Sagem box with ITD60 written underneath it.If yes then you are on the terrestrial system and you need a TX box.

 

its a euro vox max 2008.. the cable is just regular C*o*u*.. with 17 channels.. it comes in to a wall mounted box in my livingroom.. Do you know if it is possible to use the euro vox max box with regular C*oR*s

 

I thought you would have had a chorus box.Best thing to do is phone your cable provider and ask if you can upgrade to digital.If they say yes,and you have tried Eurovox with 6875 symbol rate,chances are that you need the eurovox TX box.If they say no,then all you have is an analogue system and I'm afraid you are snookered.

 

thanks for your help... I dont think that the digital age has reached parts of maynooth yet.. I will however ring them tomorrow if nothing else to complain about the terrible TV signal over the past few days...

m eurovox max 2008 currently has code being updated displayed has been like that for a while how long should you have to wait. and how long before there may be a problem thank you. and if there is is there a solution

 

I'd say you are updated at this stage.

Put it onto Sly Sports and it should update a lot faster.

How is it going.Been doing a bit of jtagging lately.Got a new " secondhand" dell laptop with a parallel port and Jtag works much better than with my old medion computer.Between Skymax and jkeys can repair all dead boxes.Do you know anything about jtagging the replay lite.a friend has 2 dead boxes.

 

Sorry Vardus as I have no knowledge of the replay and I wouldnt be able to even point you in the right direction for the jtag points as I havent heard of a jtag kit for the replay, sorry

hi can anyone hlep with this question , i have a max2008 box and everyday this week it keeps saying updating the code when i change channels , are NTHELL doing something with the codes ?. it works when it has done this so not that bothered just a curious question really, LONDON

 

More than likely you are on Telepest as they have changed the keys 10 times in the last three days, just put it on any Sly Sports channel and it will update faster.

 

yeah old NTHELL , now Telepest. its not a problem and i do put it on SS1 it only takes no more that 30 secs to do just wondered if anyone knew why ? or like you say Telepest keep changing it

can you help me plz.
the problem I've got on my eurovox max3. is the kids have messed about with the setting's on it.(don't know what he's done to it).
now all i got is the red standby light,the box won't come on at all.

Brian sent you over did he When you say it only has the standby light on does it show anything on the front LCD, maybe something like this :

Also can you hold the box up with the display facing you now look down on the top of the box, you will see the grills. Look at the top righthand corner you will see the silver tuner through the grill. Count how many slots it takes up. I need you to do this so I can verify if it is a 2006 or 2007 model.
