    Fathers EV 2007 says 'channel not currently available'
    Talked him thru menu and there are no freqs!Signal is flashing red.Did a powerscan from 291 to 410 and found 5 TP's.
    Should I try 291 to 460?
    Has anyone else experienced this problem since the invasion!!(sorry to bring it up again)

    No invasion just rubbish, what provider is he on and there where two code changes today maybe it didnt update properly?

    The boxes seem to be stuck on updating 4 hours now is that a issue..?

    Strange indeed, if you put it on Sly sports it should update, although I have seen some just partially update codes, just a firmware issue.

    To input codes manually, press menu, press language settings, type 1968 TWICE on remote, this will bring you to the key screen. Use the < or > button remote to get to your provider and check the codes, if they are not correct you can edit them. You will always find the latest codes here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363

    hello lads i just done a auto scan and i got double the amount of stations but some of them have doubled up which are the same stations,most the ones that have doubled up one of the have a blank screen.i plugged out the box last night should i do it tonight because of this visrus that went out last night or is it bullshit

    very good explanation sCouser. Thanks for shedding some light on this issue, it's a pity you can't post it across every forum, it might stop all this virus crap talk then.

    I had issues the other night at around 11:30pm when my EV '07 model turned itself off and when i switched it back on it's time was all messed up( it showed time as 3:30pm for the followung day.
    I've tried resetting as per normal method i.e. set time, GMT off save and exit then run an autoscan and have then both tried leaving the box on and turning it off once autoscan was complete but although the time sets ok all my programs are an hour behind.
    The above method worked fine when the clocks changed in Oct but for some reason it ain't working now.Any light on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
    I have a genuine EV '07 and the s/w and h/w are Jan '07.

    My EV box has MAD COW DISEASE, no sorry, BIRD FLU, no sorry, 140 CHANNELS PURRING AWAY, and for everyone else who either has a friend, or a friend of a friend or a reletive who works in NXL and decides to post garbage on this thread. This thread is for information and help for EV users experiencing difficulties with their EUROVOX MAX V.
