Will a Dreambox 500 T work with Chor*s MMDS

 

Lads Having an issue with blocky signal on a eruovox V 08 ..
Mainly in the lower Freq range but say 2/3rds of my
channels are barely kicking in now and again then back
to displaying No Signal.
But other channels are coming in fine.
Quality comes in around 80ish but keeps dropping of for a few sec's then
back up again?? Any susgestions??
Also can only pick up 73 channels anyone got more in Carlow area?

Yes it will with the correct image and terrestrial file, thats as far as I will go barm as its a Eurovox thread sorry

 

I presume you are on Ch**us cable, I know that Carlow was upgraded recently have you a digital package?

Got the direct link in and box came up. Only getting about 60 channels starting and about 425/430 ? I'm not getting any of the RTE's or BBC 1 or 11
Have Ch***** in Swords changed anything recently or am I looking in the wrong place ???
Searching on the figures you gave last week.

I have always been on Ch**us analogue cable (19ch's) and as of yet I have not upgraded. Ch**us are sending both signals (analogue and digital) down the same cable, so I thought i'd plug in the Vox for the crack to see if I could pick up the digital signal, which it did, I am get 73ch's But as I said Blocky reception on most channels and no signal on others. I tried to Power scan in my house but picked up nothing.
I scanned the box in a friends house and got the 73 ch's,
I was presuming I need to subscribe to Digi but when it picked up the digi at ~80% I thought it may be ok.
they must boost the signal as extra people subscribe??
My friends house scanned in OK this is how we pretuned the 73ch's, but had a few blocky channels also but that said they were not as bad as mine.

Ah well will have to give em a buzz to setup connection.

Could have what were the frequencies you scanned to and from on 6875?

AFAIK some areas of Ashbourne are still analogue.

Yes from 324-460
The ones I got seemed to come in from 420-460

 

Try from 274.000 to 460.000 using the 6875 symbol rate.

No problem before you do another powerscan you need to clear your channel data, or else you may be left with duplicates. Press menu, config, clear data, clear channel data. Then carry out a normal powerscan with the above info.

 

Will these freqs work for Ch*rus in Newbridge?

 

Jesus my head is totally done in with this Eurovox Max V. If I do a powerscan with out changing the freq to 290-403 I get 13TP's, it then scans in around 27channels called CH1-27, goes to updating and then nothing, service not available. I've done as some have suggested and cleared channel data,factory reset and nothing. Im southside N*l btw.

I've flashed it with the Beta Kuro to no avail, how do I upload the channel Cdf to the Max V? I'm this close to throwing it out the window....AGHH!!!

 

^^ just to add when I do a scan after clearing channel data with freq 290-403 I get maybe 1TP and no channels....

Can someone name what I should actually download and flash this unit with or please, if someone has the patients do a step by step for me....AGHH again!
