Do you want to know how to check the codes on the EV or do you want to know where we keep the updated codes or both?

For the EV press menu, press language settings, type 1968 TWICE on the remote. This will bring you to the key screen and you can then use the < or > buttons to get to your provider.

Regards the latest codes you will find the in the SV Problems & Codes link at the bottom of all my posts. BTW you should have a look at Eamos FTA Library link I put all my guides in there.

can anyone help me with this?

    Scouser any input welcome.

Are the Ch**us TP freq's the same or do they change wit location??

    I have tuned in about 19 TP's and have about 250 channel's,
A load of these are duplicates and trippled as I have been scanning all the TP's I can find so I can get everything available then go back and delete any I have more than one of.
My problem is I reckon I only have about 70 channel's if I remove all the dup's and tripp's of each channel, I am sure I should have more.

The TP's Freq I have picked up on so far are around 270.000 upto 480.000
But I have been manually hiting each TP and only on Full digit's i.e 270 then 271 then 272 etc. No mid Freq's 271.250 etc
Can anyone indicate all the TP's they are using or even where could I find a full list of CH's that I should be able to receive??
I am Using an E V MAX 2008 In Car low area,

It would be interesting to see what anyone in Kilkenny or Portlaoise are using as these may be the same??? if they are aera dependant??

    Thanks
    Tom

Simply NO , SV uses bin files and are not compatible with cdf

70-80 channels is about all you will get

As Celt said they do differ, and as Carlow has only just recently undergone an upgrade I am not sure of the difinitive frequncies and amount of channels Ch**us cable in the cities carry the same amount of channels as N** cable.

Regards your duplicates that has been caused by you manually inputting frequencies which are close to each other. The EV scans in 8Mhz steps and hence you wont get ones ending in .250 unless you manually input a similar frequency.

The maximum amount of TPs that are live on Ch**us at the moment is thirteen.

    Thanks lads and lassies..

I will post up the best TP's I can hit off in Carlow when I have time to sit and play with them fully an have things sorted out fully,
Just if any one else may need em.

    Scoucer

I was just hanging onto all the Dup's until I have all the TP's tuned in and I am then going to remove the excess.
Regards .250 I was asking about this as the link below your post has a list of TP's some containing .250 or .500 etc.
I was thinking maybe ch**us may offset some just for hardships sake..
But from what you say above would I be right in saying that the reason these .500 Freq's are posted as good known TP's is due to fine tuning aspects??

    Thanks again
    Tom

And 1 other thing. You say there is only 13 TP's live,
Do they Usually range around mid Freq's 300~500 or anywhere from 100~900 etc??
my pwr scan only picked out ~4 and these had bad signal. But found some more from some of your and other's old posts in these forums which worked a treat... Thanks for that. :).

    Hi Scouser,
I have a eurovox Max V 2008, About a week and a half ago, I lost a few channels, sky sports etc. Today, I cleared the box and reloaded the firmware from your website and also from www.cable-tv-junkie.com. Now, I'm left with 109 channels, i'm missing the likes of E4 and Bravo but I have e4+1 and Bravo+1. Have you any suggestions? I normally have 141 channels.

Any help would be greatly appreciated?

    Thanks,
    Fionnan
