Eurovox max security

Most recent software is 8/11/07.Its in Eammo's library.

 

My young lad put a security code on my eurovox and I cant get into menu. is there any way of around this? I tried re-flashing the box and I also took cover off and pressed what looks like a reset button but still have had no luck in resetting security code.

 

Did you try 1004?

 

Vardus the firmware date above is unconfirmed and is just a renamed file and I dont see it in Eamos and if it is I will have to remove it as it hasn't been verified, we dont want to go down the SV route, apologies in advance as I have already had this verified by the manufacturers.

on now and next in the EPG, Or is this a setup issue??
I don't seem to be able to find any settings for it..

Hi.im living in limerick,Ireland.I have ch**us/n*l digital mmds.Just wondering which box to buy.they are a few different ones such as eurovox,starview and a few others. which one of these would yee recommend in regards to ease of use,value and reliabilty and which website would be the best to buy from.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can anyone help?? I am trying to reflash a max red box and when I press remote all I get is a sigh on the left side of screen saying inglish and it wont go away. Now I cant get in to menu to do a factory reset, any fixes please

 

You should start again. You say you have ch**us/n*l digital mmds. Actually you have one or the other.
ch**us mmds needs a terrestrial box as it needs a dvbT (terrestrial tuner)
n*l mmds, n*l cable & ch**us true cable use a dvb-C (Cable tuner)

So if you have ch**us mmds something like "the box-t", "eurovox tx" or "ddigital mmds" would suit.
I
f you have n*l mmds, n*l cable & ch**us true cable something like "The Box", "Eurovox", "Arnet" would be suitable.

 

Was there a problem with it before you re flashed?
Also, is it a clone?

 

It was one I got back they must have been messing about with it. it had lost a lot of channels and decided to do a reflash, remote was working before reflash. def not a clone

 

If you look through the Eurovox TX thread you might get help there.
I see some people have the Tx working but some have EV Max working also.Probably depends if your rural or city.

 

Probably sounds silly! but did you try a different remote(just in case)

 

Help please ! I got a new eurobox recently, (about 4 weeks ago), set it up and all was working well, about 140 channels, im in the Dublin area and on NTL, last week the picture started to break up on the screen, (like freezing)i done a power scan and it righted itself, the same think has started to happen again. Is there anything i can do. The box doesn't seem to be updating the code, any advice appriciated, im under a bit of pressure at home over the whole thing.

 

Is it a Max V and have you got it connected to the direct feed, i.e no splitter?

 

I Think it is a Max V, not sure what a splitter is, bit new to this. I have the box connected directly to the NTL cable and a scart between TV and Box.

 

Press menu, config and system info and post what it says there.
