well after lots of pissing around i have finally got my eurovox max v set up and working.
i'm in the kildare area and on ch***.
i had to manually set the codes as per tombull82's post and also used the various hints etc on this thread, especially scouser's.
total amount of channels on ch*** is 88.
when scanning you will get up to 200 but most are duplicates.
just sort by alpha and delete dupes.
thanks for all your help guys. my limited knowledge is available for all.

84 channels is all you will get in your area the duplicates are down to you having the same freq added in twice

make sure your cable is in the RF_IN connection on he box and set your symbol rate to 6875 and then do a power scan which is the yellow button in installation

you dont have to put the codes in once you have the firmware on the box and do a power scan it will auto code its self

Got my Eurovox Max set up last night thanks to the codes on this forum.
Fairly impressed with it so far compared to the d-box.But the d-box is easier and faster to set up the stations in your preferred order.
I'm with Chorus digital (not mmds) in North Dublin and picked up about 120 stations. The only channels I seem to be missing are the Disney channels and Setanta Ireland.Do I need to do a manual scan for these?
