There is digital in our area on the cable.
We have not subscribed but some neighbours have it.

Here are the latest frequencies for Ch**** True Cable: It is area dependent so not 100% these are for Dublin.

    6875 symbol rate

    274.000 371.000
    282.000 378.000
    290.000 394.000
    298.000 410.000
    306.000 427.000
    314.000 444.000
    322.000

Codes using the same symbol rate of 6875.

No as you will need it to be the proper config and gender type this can be attained by using both the null modem cable and adapter together.

    Hi Scouser and Celtic 71
Celtic you gave me the symbol rate of 6875 for Ch****
It didn’t work, found no channels. Im in Wicklow
Also tried the two default rates of 6952 T******t and 6887 N** They didn’t work.
When I scanned I didn’t scan for the particular frequencies you gave me I just went into the user installation menu,
hit the yellow button for a power scan,
changed the symbol rate to 6.875Mbd and ,
let it scan the whole band from 100-870MHz
But it didn’t find any channels.
Did I do right or should I get it to scan for the specific frequencies you gave me ?
Before you ask, yes the co-ax is in the RF socket and there is a signal on it (if I take it out of the box and put it into TV the “normal channels “ come up) and I can see when the box scans it sees a “level” and “quality” of 88-90% on some frequencies, lower levels on other frequencies.
Any other suggestions or should I just start scanning from 6.000mbd all the way up to 6.999.
    Thanks for the help

You say you you see normal channels are you sure you are in a digital area as opposed to an analogue one? Is your emulator on press menu, language setting and type 1968 on RC.

Borrow a stand alone pc as it will have a D9 serial port and you can use just the null modem cable then.

I had the same prob but you can get an adapter quite easy many stores would have it not just maplin - only thing is you want to know what your doing because the dowloader uses com 1 to 4 and when you install the bridge adaptor it somewhere around com 50 to 60. of course you can change this too
