Eurovox Max V 15/10/07 New Firmware

Load the latest Beta firmware see link a couple of posts up.

 

Just tried the beta version. When the booster is off, i get every channel, but certain channel groups (which have programmes such as setanta in) appear pixelated and keep freezing and are unwatchable. This was happening to me over the last week with the sep update too.

But when i choose the signal booster on, these programmes appear perfectly, but i get back to the other problem (when i had the oct update on), where there is no signal for other channel groups such as Sky sports X, a few Sky Movies channels, a few movie channels and Five Life.

Any ideas?

hmm yeah it is very weird, because some of the programmes only started becoming pixelated and unwatchable about a week ago. Before that they were working perfectly fine, and this was haappening on the sep update, and everytime i did a factory reset, the same thing kept happening on those same programmes.
But wit the oct update the programmes are clear, it's just that quite a few are missing. This is the same with the booster on in the beta version. But when you switch the booster off, the programes where there was no signal actually work, but then the pizelating and freezing occurs and becomes more frequent on more programmes.

But i also have another eurovox mav v using the same signal (i use a splitter) and that oen works perfectly with the sep update and no problems. So weird!

It may be you splitter then as the signal to one is fine try a new splitter. Or even make sure that it has become loose at the splitter, as I have seen that before.

 

i don't think it's the splitter, because i've plugged the second eurovox using the other eurovox signal, and that one still works fine!

i really don't know what to try next!

Have a look at the link I gave you earlier it is just like a tap for signal attenuation you can control how much you need, dont need. Worth a try for a few quid.

 

If you have life in the box and its able to locate the channels but its haveing problems viewng the channels most likely the prob is signal strenght it doesnt need to be that strong to view the channels once they are unscrambeld but the first viewing the signal needs to be at an optimum so I would also suggest try without the splitter - and make sure your cable plugs are clean - it worth a try

hi can someone plz help me!! im new to this..
ok so i downloaded this firmware thingy, but now what am i suposed to do. i connected al the wires and stuf but when i pressed upload to save my channels first..i cudnt find what to upload?! Then when i pressed download, it sed no comp port! I RELI NEED HELP!!!!! IM SUCHA AN AMATEUR!

 

hello all i have the same problem , plug leads in comp ans black box , put on stand buy and then click down load , it ask for com port i click on port 1 nothink happens then i click on port 2 and nothink happens , what am i doing wrong have been trying things for two hours know, please please help ???????????????/

 

Hi,
Go to start control panel, system, hardware,device manager,ports and change to com 3. must have null cable attached to box and computer and then start download. hopefully should work did for me.

 

hello ther , i have a problem, i only have com 1 and com 2 ports showing and Lpt 1 , this is doing my head in , any advice mate

how do i change it , i have tried but it wont have it, i have com 1 com 2 and plt1 but the last one i cant change , the box to change it is not highlited if you know what i mean ,
hope i aint to much of a pest mat
