Eurovox max V 2008 + smallworld = help

ok box is getting returned tomorrow,

so just going to give up on the whole scenario.

i'm by far no expert, but from what i can see , signal strength is fine.

possibly the reason why it just sits on "please wait code being updated"

is because The box was is not able to do autoupdate the keys , or my provider isn't defined in the box' software.

in the 1968 keys menu is lists:

ntl
telewest
c+w
no name

in the ntl/telewest/c+w, section i have entered all the current (19th 0ct) keys for those providers, 00 + 01 .

my assumption is smallworld cant use any of these keys, or it would'nt say, pleae wait code being updated.

again, does anybody know what codes smallworld use? their own?
also i have no name listed aswell, could this be refering to smallworld?

i pretty sure if i entered the correct code that smallworld use, it would work.

Hi, thanks for the reply,most of my problem stems from "Please insert smart card" when trying to tune in to S*K movie channels and various other sport channels on Sta**a transponder, I don't know if they have changed freq, I am also unble to get any list of channels available in cumbria on various cable forums. cheers

I have spent hours trying to get my euro vox back to how its used to be without having the stupid "please wait for code to update"!!!!

After spend hours trying to find a way around browsing through many different forums i think i may have what u are looking for it worked for me and another to boxes, so lets keep our fingers crossed.

Steps:
Menu-
language settings-
enter code 1968 twice (should bring up differnt codes)
Depending our your cable provide choose the apropriate codes.
scroll down to whichever one t/w n*t ect.......
press red button to input new code 00 and 01 (link at bottom)
press blue to save and exit
walah!!!!
