    far too embarrassed to answer that question!! how blonde do i feel!!
    i think we're in business...the channels seem to be loaded alright, but the screen is now sayin "please wait, code being updated..." should i just wait a few minutes??

    take it i was right then lol,stick on one of your premium channels ie sly premier and it should kick in,but note you will have to redo your favs as that autosort dosn't really work over here,hope you have the latest autoroll firmware on your box.

    grand....thanks! i'm on sky premier now but still nothing...just give it a few minutes? dunno about the software but i'll be just happy if i get the channels back!
