Eurovox Max V - All Encrypted Channels Gone (Teesside)

I've switched to Sky Sports to update but it's been stuck on 'Please wait, code being updated...' for 20 minutes. I've tried a different channel and switching the receiver off and back on again.

 

I've got the same box with the same issue... Stuck on 'please wait, updating codes'. Have done a factory reset and a full scan - can get free channels fine - only encrypted not decrypting! (from Leicesterhshire).

Hi Im in Belfast, my pay for channels have all gone along with my brothers and several other people I know.

 

Maybe mine are down too..!!!!! If i have them . !!

It could all be a conspericy

 

I would also have a june/july 07 flash on my box id i have one ..!!!!!!

And if i had one it would be the same box i bought without having a problem with for nearly a year .!!

Seems to be a uk wide problem .!

 

Same problem in Hartlepool, been off since about 4.30 PM and brought up text saying insert smart card.
Also since then it says updating, but no change to screen.
Can someone explain what's happened?

 

Yes you all need to manually update your codes.

 

and how do we do this please?

 

ok sussed how to update the keys just need to know where to find the keys, so can anyone point me in the right direction?

but no joy, im in a telewest area and have tried the codes both ways round. i have also set my provider to 54 01

any idea's

54 / 00 or 00 / 10 did you reverse the code round 01 / 00 im a noob n need help in redcar

 

Hi. I am new to this. My box was working fine until this afternoon and I understand that I need to update the codes, I am in a telewest area so I think the codes are: 0 - BE 62 64 FB C3 2C 73 F6
01 - D8 9B E6 5E 3A 0C 45 AE. What I do not understand is where to I put these codes, do they go somewhere in the Eurovox max menu. I have been to the link below but am baffled by what needs to be done, please help: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363

YES! Ive got it. Ok this is what I did for all those who need help: Firstly, I am in a tele**** area, I did a scan in the usual way and got the updating code image for all channels, I pressed menu, then the yellow button, then I entered provider: 5A 01 key00: BE 62 64 FB C3 2C 73 F6 key01: D8 9B E6 5E 3A 0C 45 AE , then I went to sky sports 1 and it worked A big thank you to all previous comments.

 

got it after a power scan and the new codes , thanks very much!

 

THANX,been tryin to sort it for hours,finally worked,first time ive had to manually update in 8 months
