Hi i have had this box for a few years, i have in the past had to download new firmware and also manually update the codes.
This box has been off for a few weeks now, all channels showing "code being updated"
I have tracked down the latest codes and manually put them in but nothing is changing, i have tried turning off the box and updating on sky sports but that just resets all the codes to the old ones. nothing i do seems to work.
I have been through all the treads on here to get an idea of what to do but with no joy. please can anyone help.
    many thanks
    Tina

Have you got your box in standby when flashing also are you using a USB adaptor. You only need the power cable to the box and of course the Null modem cable plugged in.

Usually powering the box off/on sorts this have patients and keep trying, are you sure you have a Null modem cable and not an RS232 serial cable? try a factory default before flashing the box with either firmware then if still no luck all I can say is try it on another PC/Laptop.
