Can anyone help me I recieved a Eurovox Max V 2008 yesterday in the mail and it wont power on. It just stays in stand-by mode all the time. Thanks
Did you get the NULL MODEM CABLE supplied with it If so download these files and follow instructions on the Eko site Under "Eurovox" DnUpMan http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3TGRSRDT Eurovox bin http://www.megaupload.com/?d=82RJDNIC
downloaded those items to my computer. I got a cable with the box but had to buy an addapter with a USB connection to fit on my computer. But when I plug the box into the computer it wont reconise the box.
Sounds like you have a wrong RS232 cable as it needs to be a null modem cable with a cross over config. Or you have the wrong USB adapter, as this needs to be a serial port adapter. These are what you need: Null modem info here http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6 USB Adapter info here http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...t10&doy=search&MenuName=USB to Serial Adaptor These are only for reference purposes and can be purchased much cheaper on fleabay.
Doesn't matter how you got them, as some boxes have been sent with straight leads that look exactly the same as a null modem cable. And there are two types of USB adapters, one is a USB to serial adapter, the other is a USB to serial port adapter. Subtle differences but they are quite important when you go to flash your box as you are witnessing.
Hi guys, i am awaiting to recieve my box. Just wondering will i 250+ channels when i run a scan, as it is stated?
