happy xmas everyone just bought me lad a eurovox max v it does not seem to have secret menu tried all the ways in (the 1968 way and the yellow button way nothing happenin) also wen i load the new firmware it send 100% but stops writing on 30% gives a err on the display any help would be great hes looking forward to watchin it. im not new to this but its my first max v do i have to put some thing else on before the loader will work thanx
I take it your using a null modem cable along with a USB adapter?. Which operating system on your PC?.

the link you posted is not valid but i have used the same cable to flash eurovox red and all starview
Was that on the same PC and recently you flashed the EV and SV. have you read through this >> http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/674371#4151717 as you need to assign your ports/coms. I know that is for the USB adapter BUT the Null modem cable works the same way, If it's not looking at the correct port/com it will have problems downloading the Firmware to your box.
first of all sorry hitech for a long return cristmas went and got in the way yeah flashed ev and sv on the same pc both recent but the box is dldn just freezes on the writing but shouldn't the key menu still apear
