sorry but my knowledge on cables aint so good. In simple terms my question is with the ordinary NT* box which I have there are two cables that go into it. my friends only has the one. And that cable that he has is the f socket type one. So what do I need to do to connect this NT* connection to the eurovox? Thanks

So before I go and buy one....just want to make sure its the right model. Its for NT* MMDS in Galway.
So Is the cable model still the right option ?
This si the one I am looking at, or if anyone can recomend a better dealer I'd appreciate it.

    Hi
My eurovox max v has been working pretty well on N*L MMDS for the last couple months. Have the correct frequencies (250 -> 378) and correct symbol rate (6.887).
However every so often when I turn on the box the majority of channels don't appear. For example RTE2 comes up fine but RTE1 doesn't. The signal strenth for RTE1 is over 80% on freq 298 and you can see the info for whats meant to be on but no picture.
This ususally resolved itself in that the channels would appear after a couple minutes.
But last night this problem has persisted and I only have about 10 out of 90+ channels appearing......
Any ideas - does it have to do with the software on the box that I have ?
    Appreciate any help
    Cheers..

Hi all. I'm a standard N*L basic package user in Galway City. I have the eurovox 07. Everything has been working grand for the past year until this week. My friends started complaining about poor quality reception on there eurovox 08's, but ever since Thursday, my eurovox and everyone else’s have gone completely. Is this the end of the eurovox as we know it or can anything be done? I've done power scan and I've left it on search for signal for 2 days!!!
    Help please......

My friend just rang me with the code, so I'll answer my own question.
    Go to menu
    Press yellow
    Provider is 5401
    Key00 is 5b7436a3b230cb46
    key01 is 540d8109f96e17f9
    press ok
if your wondering how to get the letters into the code, it tells you, as in TV = A
    Radio = B, P- = C, P+ = D, Info = E and Recall = F

    Nice one... use and enjoy
    Were back in action.

    Guys,

    Newbie in Carlow.
Have a neighbour with a Eurovox max.
I just my hands on one and am having trouble getting channels.
Followed the instructions with a powerscan.
During the scan I can see signal level/quality at 80-90%.
    But no channels tune in.
    I go from 100Mhz - 870Mhz.
Does anyone know does the strength/quality indicate anything meaningful in this case ?
Should The channel num increment when scanning ?
I have a splitter which I know is not recommended, but can't easily disconnect it. I have disconnected the TV from the other end.
The signal strength seems to be high so
    I'm on piped ch0r*s

    Any ideas ?

    Tia
