Hi Boys & Girls, fter reading so much about this fantastic bit of kit I decided to take the plunge and get one.It arrived today and I set it up. I only have V.M broadband - no TV package. After a couple of scans I now have 249 channels(Fantastic) but the majority of them break up quite badly.(Not so Fantastic) I have used a good quality splitter, cable and F connectors. The signal strength and quality of most channels is about 83% which seems high enough. Any ideas.

If you have the latset KURO firmware installed there is a signal booster installed

    SIGNAL BOOSTER

If you live in a low signal area and have weak signal problems with poor results when scanning or picture breaks up when watching.

Go to Menu /Config / Settings /Signal Booster

    The Default Settings Off

    Switch On/

Press Blue button to Save & Exit

I would create a ch dump and then re-install firmware, I had similar issue at first and this resolved problem. I also found my connections was not the tightest fit they could be.

I would also follow celtics advise and update to KURO firmware due to the signal booster, the firmware is still in beta status but all is ok with it.
