finished powerscan, and got 152 channels, no frequencies above 571,000mhz were found. all, that should be enabled is enabled, i will have to enter the frequencies manually before i enter the keys, is that right
Try manual on the following frequencys: 587.000 635.000 643.000 683.000 699.000 707.000 715.000 723.000 731.000 739.000 747.000 755.000 quickest way of doing this is go to power scan - mode: normal, start:587.000, end: 755.000, symbol rate: 6.952, other symbol rate: 6.887 then ok to start scan see how that goes.
just tried manually scanning all those frequencies and got no channels on any of them, the channels strength and quality levels are all over the place. they dony seem to stay at a constant rate or even close to constant.
go to power scan - mode: normal, start:587.000, end: 755.000, symbol rate: 6.952, other symbol rate: 6.887 then ok to start scan see how that goes.
go to 1 of your encrypted chs say animal pl*net and see if codes unscramble. Your sig should not be going up and down like a yo yo maybe jump from 80 - 85 or so as mine does but thats it. It is possible you have a hardware issue with the box or say your feed etc. I have sent a pm to Sc0user to come have a look at your problems he is the best man to talk to the force is extremly strong with him. If your chs dont unscramble you will find the codes here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/531363 go to ones dated 18/12/07 and enter them in your box by menu - language settings -1968 - emm capture, type 1968 - scroll to 1st c & * - press ok - make your changes- blue button (save & exit) repeat this process for the 2 different codes for provider.
i am just doing a full scan through all the frequencies, its not that the channels are not unscrambling its that even when they do find channels it is giving me a no signal message. my signal strength is only up and down on the lower and higher frequencies. thats the bit i can't get my head around. i have tried absolutely everything i know which isnt a great deal. anyway, thanks for all you efforts today, i know you probably have something better to do and i apreciate the time you have given up to try to help me. hopefully scouser will come up with the goods again as i have seen him do on here in the past. Regards and thanks. eddie
I do know the main provider was going to migrate t/pest, c&*, nt* all onto the 1 system kind of thing wether its been done or not and creating your problems I do not know. Once he arrives on your post I am sure he will be able to resolve your problem. Sorry I cannot be of much more use to you and dont worry about the time or anything its a learning curve for me also so I consider it as mutual benefit. Have a good day, KMAC.
