Everyone I know in my area has lost ITV4 More4 and Ch5 if you do a scan you can get ch5 again but the others have are dead. Why is this? It is nothing to do with my connection cos it has happened to everyone. It just says no or bad signal, is there anyway to get these channels back?
i lost all my channels like that i done a channel dump then a rescans got all channels back as i couldnt do a power scan

I have already flashed my box with the latest firmware. I saved my cdf file and put it back on then did a channel update. Are you sugesting I just powerscan? I don't see how that would help really plus then how am I supposed to get my channels in order without the painstaking task of sorting through it all.
ok so I did a power scan and the channels are back. I am now hopefully going to be able to edit my cdf file with the new new details so I don't have to sort them all how I like them.
Does your fav button not show them in category order, eg Sport, music, popular if not use the UFL (Unified Flash Loader)<< this is what you used to flash the box with. After you have uploaded the CDF to your PC click "Browse" on the UFL select your CDF then click edit, then "CH List" you then right click the channels and select category you want them in. you then need download it back to your box, make sure you clear the channel data on your box before doing so,
I hate using the faves cos you have to piss about so much going between entertainment and that all the time. I have one channel list terrestrial followed by popular then music sport and so on all in order. Also my flash loader does not seem to like the new channel list. I can open my previous one but this one will not open. Just crashed the program when even I backup and click edit. Guess I am going to have to manually do it all on the box. What a piss on! And to top it off when I have done that I won't even be able to back it up to put on my other box cos the flash loader doesn't work with it? I noticed that my old channel lists frequency started at 323000 the channels that where missing are all on 26700 so they didn't actually exist before my powerscan. Could this be the issue?
ok so I have now reset my older red max box and got all the channels on that. Thankfully that one will allow me to back up and edit the cdf file. I have still spent a good chunk of this afternoon re-ordering all the channels because I dislike the favourite option. Thanks for the responses and although I really didn't want to go through the massive annoyance of a powerscan I guess it needed doing.
just change frequency to 379000 for teesside on channal one lost channals five itv4 more 4 baby tv movies 24
