Hi All, great news that the fixes are starting to roll out. I need some help if at all possible. I've got a Eurovox EX5000 PVR and have just flashed the latest firmware to it no problem. Whoever when I connected to the aerial and ran a scan it's only detecting 10 channels, some of which are scrambled. I think I've followed Hiteck's guide ok and can't see what I've missed. Thought I read a thread of someone else having the same issue but can't locate the thread. Has anyone else had this too? Any ideas how to get around it. All helpful suggestions greatly accepted.

you need to factory reset the box after flashing,

if on nthell, choose install, then enter in 150.00 in the first box and 460.00 and 6887,

scan for the chans, once scanned,

press menu----language--1968 and make sure that emulation is set to enable.

To fix your scrambled channels this is courtesy of foxyboy

Lads I had the exact same problem and got it fixed. press menu----language--1968 and make sure that emulation is set to enable.

Then exit out and go to sky sports and if you have uploaed the latest .cdf channel file onto the eurovox it will show immediately,if not you may have to wait for it too unscramble.

When you say aerial are you on nthell mmds.

Is it just the one particular Eurovox in your possession or have you tried someone else's. It could be a serial fault with your box.

Very strange?? Your com port settings are OK and you can flash other boxes? Have you brought the same Eurovox/Eurovoxs to a mates and tried flashing them there?

Right click on my computer and select device manager,
    Expand Ports ~(COM & LPT)
    Right click properties,select port settings,advanced
go to com port number and match to the same usb port your plugged into.
It will probably say in use, ignore and select okay.

I had the same problem as you and thats how I got mine working.
I am using my laptop ~(XP) as my pc is W7 and won't see the cable at all.
