Eurovox Nag 2 Fixes.

I see. So, who thinks Eurovox will do what Starview etc did and release their fix for only the latest box and disregard all the old ones?

Is there any hope for my EX5000 basically or am I wasting my time?

It's so frustrating being in the dark. I'd love to just go and buy a KV now but I'd be gutted if Eurovox brought out a fix for my 2 EX5000's sitting here.

 

If there ia a fix for the 5000's i'm sure it will only be genuine box Compatible due to the large amounts of clones at the moment.

 

Thats great that eurovox are bringing out a new box,
But unfortunately I can not see myself buying one of these new model's.I think they have shot themselves in the foot as the other makes have shown them the way.
Trouble in the camp or not,this major delay in a fix shows the support can not be relied upon.

 

dont shoot the messenger lads im not a fan of them myself!! as i have 2 of there boxes, its just so far this thread all day has been a rumour mill, i just tought id put in something that is a fact.

 

I know how you feel, oh i know the pain all too well, i have been waiting in hope of a fix for my ex5000. If they don't release a fix for this and just for their new models, i will be so pissed, i bought my ex5000 only a month before the ex5100 came out. Not to mention i have a sv3 sitting gathering dust too, being skipped over once sucked, but if it happens twice i might just cry

 

I've had my fingers crossed for a Max V fix for a long time, this thread gives me a shred of optimism. If I ever buy a new box it sure as hell won't be a Eurovox though.

 

yes file will be released for 5000pvr next week does not look like max will be updated though

Dont get me wrong,its great that they are bringing out a fix for some box's.
And even better that a member has some knowledge of this in advance.You might save a couple on members a few quid by holding on to what they thought was useless.After all it better late than never to have a fix.
Have you any idea of when to expect these fix's ?

 

i think the best thing to do with my eurovox's is to sell them on flea-bay, sick wiping dust bunnies off them getting my hopes up every time there is a rumour!

also "Mikya" i see on another thread that you were told to stop clogging up the threads,LOL, by a certain person, who just got a short ban! may be he got confused or was sick again when writing, and should have referred that to himself!!

Thats annoying, I'd imagine it would have been one of the best selling boxes, alot of them floating around out there. Like I said, if I ever get another box theres no way in hell it'll be a Eurovox.

 

@ hooter, not to dwell on it, but it really irks me when someone does that, asks for help and is givin it and then go do it again, makes fools of people and try to deny it

welcome to the starview and digivox gang, only the last box did they update, the rest, which werent to old, got shafted, shows their support alright

yes it will be bad if they don't update the max and older boxes but i don't see any older starviews updated either ,you can blame the guys who sell clones for no updates on older models but am sure any box older than 3 months has paid for itself alex

 

I think that might be true for the folks that come on here and look after their own boxes, but most people who bought them from a bloke down the pub, will have paid a bit more.

Would be great if they did release a fix for the MAX though, but as Starview and others did not, I would be suprised if they do.

i heard a rumour.. a good source told me the eurovox are definitely finito. unless there is an actual fix (not a rumour) of course .. which he failed to disclose stating they are purposefully not updating their older models whilst (still) supposedly manufacturing a new box which will work on nag2? initial batch due 6wks max.

there is also a rumour.. that any dyslexic boy racers etc who claim there is light at the end of the eurovox tunnel should go pull into the nearest McD carpark n have a long nap.

whilst waiting for their Kryptview A750, which is/has been available the past 4months eurovox have been failing their customers..

 

How are there so many conflicting rumours from supposed 'good' sources?

Most of us with EV's would love a Kryptview (or any working, supported box) right now but we're not willing to shell out more money on a box, when there are these rumours there MAY be a fix for our current boxes around the corner.
It's not that we have some sort of unwavering loyalty towards the manufacturers of Eurovox that we would rather sit here with our 10 or so working channels instead of all the working channels on the KV just out of spite.

Also, wtf has dyslexia or boy racers got to do with Eurovox?
If that was an attempt to be witty... you failed miserably.

 

Hi guys i don`t want to seem a bit of a drip but my eurovox blue box went down a while ago and i cant seem to get hardly anything on it.Ive not been around so i may have missed something.
