Eurovox New Software Released.Tested and Working.

The up-grade seems to work on N*L but does not work with Ch**us.
A fix is awaited for Ch**us.

However I've just read on another thread that N*l seem to have cracked the last upgrade in the UK and N*l users in UK are now having to manually change the keys since this morning.
I only read it ---I'm not sure

Sounds like NTL have really uped the ante with all these boxes.
I'd say they're watching this websites too

I think I'll wait and see for a while and just manually enter them for now. Its not too hard to do but its the waiting on the codes that annoy me.

 

And getting on the site when they roll can be another problem

I dont think the latest software was successfull as i have loaded the kuro v3 to my original maxV2008 and today it came up updating codes again please wait so had to put them in manually,

Just adding this as im sure im not the only one to of had this to day 17/4/08 , has anyone experienced it today

 

will the usb to 9 pin cable do for up loading the new firmware

 

I tried to flash my box and now when i turn the box on it reads 'channel not currently available'

any ideas?

 

There seems to be a lot of folks having problems with the new fix!perhaps may be as well just using manual code input for the time being to keep us viewing. {just a thought}

 

I thought I saw a site before that explained how you differenciate between a blue and a red eurovox. Anyone got the link?

 

hi guys i have a eurovox max, im pretty sure that its a 2007 model, it came in a red box.
is there software available for this to automatically change code.

 

hello my eurovox and dbox has both gone off i want them both fixed i will pay good

not very good when it comes to flashing...
just inputting the codes the hard way haha!

u can get a channel dump file , click on the eko. link under my post, eurovox,ch dump files.

yea, once u can connect the 9 pin ( null cable) to the pc in some way , u should be ok.

@ bear88 for the 2006 model ( blue i presume) u will need the 10-04-08 firmware in the eurovox section in the eko link.

 

why is the new firmeware 10/04/ 08 on the eurovox blue so slow at updating I have mine neraly two years now but it seem now that it take forever to update is anybody else having same problem

 

Hey, just updated my max v 2008 box with the new firmware,and it works perfectly! so no more having to input codes manually.....hopefully.
Im in the Galway region using nthell.

Press the default key in the CAS menu it may be stuck in a loop.

 

when you connect the box to the pc does the box need to be connected to the cable also?

i.e do i have to bring the pc to the tv/eurovox system or can i do it the other way round?

How many of ye that updated to the new firmware, did the box update it's own codes and how long did it take?

Was there any of ye which had no problems last night or today?

 

stupid me again what the cas default and does it do any harm to the autoroll to put the keys manually
