This is the official software to fix the Chorus update problem. Do not use the unofficial Chinese hacked software using the DnUpman program and the bin file which is also in circulation. This software will brick your box.

I have a friends eurovox max-v 2008 but the UFL keeps giving me the message "this firmware is not fit for your receiver" The box is definitely a eurovox max-v 2008:



All of the UFL's for this box give me this message. The last firmware I was able to update was the max-v 2008 July 07 bin file with Dnupman.

Is this a clone box? As I've heard the max-v 2008 hasn't been cloned. It's doing my nut in- I read somewhere that I can update it with the OCT 07 Blue Box UFL and then it will let me update the April 08 kuros 3 UFL. Is this correct or will this turn my mates box into a paperweight??

 

Is there a step by step procedure to update the box is it straight forward to do it

 

Your box could have been jtagged with a red file turning it into a red box. Was it ever sent anywhere for repairs?

Thanks for the fix but is it ONLY for black 2008 boxes - fix for N*L came in a different flavour for each year?

Hmmmm, I've got the Eurovox MaxV I just installed the new software (18-4-08) but my box appears to have frozen:

I get a message on screen of 'channel currently not available', the green light does not come on when the cable is plugged in and most buttons on the remote control don't do anything.

The channel display on the front of the box is '0000' but I can't go up or down channels using the remote or the buttons on the box. Similar story with the menu button. The volume buttons still work!

Any ideas? the software installer said download complete what I ran it.

You will have to do a full rescan as all your channels were delited when you downloaded the new fix

 

Is todays release JUST for ch**us or will it work for N*L too?

hi guys totally new to this game can someone please point me towards the right direction, firstly i would just like to be able to update codes manually on the eurovox. if someone could point me in the right direction i would really appreciate it many thanks in advance

 

I'm also having the same problem as letmeout

After the upgrading the firmware and reseting to factory default, eurovox displays 0000 on the front display and 'channel currently not available' on the television.

I'm also on N*L.

Do any of you guys know of fixes for this please.

I have just been told by my wholesale supplier that the 10.04.08 software is causing some boxes not to find transponders!! I as far as I can discern this only applies to black 2008 units - interested to hear if anyone is experiencing this!!
Also I can confirm that the 18.04.08 kuro release is both for NTL and Chorus
