Eurovox New Software Released.Tested and Working.

    Hi.

    I've updated software from 10/04/08, everything seems to be working fine. What is this new sostware all about (18/04/08) ?? I have a black Eurovox (ex C&W) Do I need to update again ????

    Re "Insert Smart Card" - I have even seen that message on my Ch*us supplied box and when I called them about it they told me to switch channels, so I imagine it is something we have to live with.

    That said, I just want to say again that the new 18.4.08 firmware works great with Ch*us - I counted 5 updates during the Man City match and all were resolved within one minute.

    Re. the UPC quote regarding their €32 subscription fee. If it was only that much I would pay it. But for €32 all you get are the terrestrial channels which we have already paid for via our licence fee and a bunch of free to air channels - and I doubt that they pay anything for those. In my mind this is like the music business selling cds which people can pirate. Eventually UPC will be forced to reduce their prices to realistic levels and then I will pay them.

    Hi Could you help me I am unable to to download the attached software as my computer does not have an RS232 connection on it could you give the up to date codes for Chorus I am in Kildare in Ireland.

    Any help would be great and much appreciated.

    Hi.

    I'm having a problem with my box, it started say 1 week ago. When my box and another box of mine (Nokia DBox2) went out due to what was though to be NTL scrambling the signal?

    I've got my DBox up and running however when I try to use my EuroVox box the pop-up of "Please wait, Code being updated" has been there this past week.

    I haven't updated the software since I've had the box which is approx 2 years now.

    Could somebody please point me in the right direction.

    PS. I'm in London.

    could buy a USB to RS232 adaptor, codes in lots of peoples sigs and on 1st page of "Manually inputting codes on the eurovox+codes" thread.

    You need to update with the latest firmware release for your box, unless you want to keep entering codes.

    I am trying to manually enter codes and the thread:

    Instructs me to press menu, then press the yellow button (Text) however nothing happens. is there something I am doing wrong or overlooking?

    My box is Eurovox Max Blue Box, I press Menu (takes me to 'Main Menu')then press 'yellow button' (a pop up appears with 'Nagra Edit'), from there enter the latest Key 00 and Key 01 for your provider, which can be found in the link.

    No worries thanks for your help, I have entered the new codes however it did not work guess the firm ware is too old, even tried to delete and re-scan for channels, no avail, thanks anyway Nicky.

    who is your provider and what area you in?

    what provider code?

    what keys 00?
    01?

    Have you tried updating the firmware?

    OK guys not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but. So if its in the owrng section mods please move to best forum thanks

    I downlaoded the new firmware for the eurovox max 208 a week or so ago and all working.

    BUT i still cannot see a popular shopping channel so cannot see the latest special value item and also cant get SP1 - all other channels seem to work.
    Also i have 2 startview super boxes which have never gone down and again cant get either of the channels already mentioned. Does anyone know why I cant imagine that thes channels have been taken off air.
    Anyone got any idea on what happened or how i can get these 2 channels up. When you switch to these channels nothing happens its jsut freezes the box

    Hey followed the instructions on first page and everything working well and looks a bit smarter too. 2 questions though

    1)There appears to be a new function AUTOSCAN what does that do?
    2)if i go through and powerscan again as no pvp movies showing will i lose the order of channels (spent a while sorting these at weekend).

    i see from a post yesterday that you said the red and blue box update will be out today for chorus. I'm just wondering where I could find it, have looked around the forums but can't seem to spot it.

    Have tryedto down load new ch--- software all leads pluged in ok when i press down load all i am getting is " WAITING FOR THE RESPONCE FROM YOUR RECEIVER"can any one help please
