Eurovox New Software Released.Tested and Working.

Hi I have a Eurovox Max its a black and silver box does anyone know which update I use and where I can get it. The Bigmaq Toolbar isn't working so is there somewhere else I can download it from. Thanks a mill

If the box is updating OK, I would be inclined to leave it.

The software is 18-04-08, there is a link in my sig to a step by step guide and on the thread there are a few posts about setting up serial to USB adaptors etc.

If you upload your Channel Data File, there should be no need to rescan as all your channels will be there.

It could mean that one component is faulty, ie usb connector or your cable. basically your pc cannot 'see' your receiver!
try another physical port if u have one, or when downloading go tru the different com's , u may be using wrong one.
If that fails , do what SG8 suggested , which is leave it alone,
after all If it works , it works...

 

hi guys i am looking for a fix for the eurovox 2,its a silver box never had to update it before but i know how to, although i am unsure what file to use box is about 3 years old,anyone point me to the right file please

 

Sorry to be a pain but which is the update for the ordinary Eurovox Max (not the Eurovox Max V)

 

Could someone tell me if I update the eurovox and download the channel data does that mean I do not need to do the factory reset or powerscan?

When you say ordinary is it a 2006 or 2007 model?

 

I think its the 2007 model.

 

Hold the box with the LCD facing you. Look down through the grills on the top right hand side of the box, you will see the long silver tuner.

If it measures 8 grill slots it is a 2007, (Red) model, if it measures 11 slots its a 2006, (blue) model.

 

Thanks Scouser I have already seen that. So is this right I update the box fetch it back downstairs do the scan then disconnect it, take it back upstairs and reload my favorites?

 

how long do you think the latest firmware will last?

 

Just one more question then... should I have had to put in the latest keys at all then once I had updated the Eurovox software? Shouldn't the new software have found the keys itself? I'm sure I updated the software as my channel list was wiped.

Quick question for anyone that could help. I flashed the genuine box with the latest KuroImage v3 fix released on 18th of April. worked a treat until this morning - signal scrambled now on most channels with images almost breaking through. Then is says "signal unknown". Any advice? Please?

 

Your box should update itself once the new firmware is installed.
