    OK guys jsut to let you know my box went of earlier hubby changed channels and nothing

    so i thought id go to install and try n install then did a quick install of the firmware that was already on there and yay it all came back on!

    so if anyone has problmes try tat 1st coz ya never know

    please can some one help.................. i have a black eurovox box with chorus and i am trying to update it but when i do a search it comes back with nothin????

    can you emphasize on what box you have and exactly what you have done please

    many people say black cause the box[reciever] is black, have you updated the firmware etc?

    sorry mate i know head wrecker..... i have a black eurovox max v which i got from a fella for 250. it was workin sweet then i had to start gettin codes off this website. then all of a sudden it started saying no signal....search for signal. so i was told to down load eurovx max v kuro final 18/4/08 and get a null cable. so i have done all of that and i have down loaded the sodtware onto the box. i was then told to restore facoty settings and do a search which i have done. i was told that the channels would appear on the screen in a list format and then to go to skysports and it would work, but i am getting no channels qfter search. i have been tryin for four hours now and nothin.....

    wouldn't say am an expert, but it might be that you have used the wrong firmware updateor had a bad flash however, if this is the case, using the right firmware should correct this problem.
    are all your connections in the correct place?

    yes they are all in the same place....... when it search on some channels of the 770 it checks the signal and quality bar is full so??????????

    did you disconnect it from catv b4 u flashed it?

    i mean did you disconnect it from the cable tv source b4 you updated the firmware

    no i didnt...will i disconect reinstall an try again??? what sybal rate do i need to be on also???

    not sure if you need to alter it, i didn't.

    YOU MUST HOWEVER DISCONNECT IT FROM THE CABLE SOURCE BEFORE YOU UPDATE THE FIRMWARE.

    good luck, you may also have to do a factory reset before scanning, some boxes i have updated needed it and some did not.
    i also found that some boxes also said that the firmware update failed[download failed] but when put back on cable tv line and scanned, they worked! no idea bout why that is.....

    Hi there, i've flashed my eurovox with kuro v3 Final. Should i flash my eurovox with Kuro 3_18_04_08, or is that the same file? Thanks

    thanks it searchin now takes while as u know.....should the channels appear on the screen in a list as they are found?? on my screen as its search below all the bars etc it says TP:000

    You need to make sure you have the correct symbol rate selected for your area/provider, otherwise it will find nothing.

    agreed, but even when reset on my box and a few that i have done, i have never had to change this.

    did you get your box from a uk source? if you did then you may have to re-enter YOUR providers symb0l rate
