Thats fine. Press menu, installation, user installation, press yellow button.

Change Start to 250.000, change stop to 460.000. Change Symbol Rate to 6875. Press OK to start scan.

 

obviously yes, however i don't wanna step on the big guys here.
i personally would try the basics again. to me it looks like something didn't go like it should......
or you did not follow the instructions as told...

You should see it find TPs in the Ch**us range I gave you. Some will fail others will come in. BTW are you in Swords/Malahide area?

 

respect, but how long should that take? most ov what i have updated takes for sv almost instant, for euro upto 10 mins, but i am in uk so maybe that makes a difference.

Ch**us TPs differ and are in a certain range however if he is in a communal MMDS area then he is in trouble, but sincerely doubt it. Also Ch**us areas have had intermittent trouble over the last day or two due to CC related engineering problems.

As tempo said and lets be sure of this, most parts of Swords is Ch**us alright with a certain amount of pocket areas with N** are you definite of your Ch**us status before we go ahead.

 

oh yeah was using the chorus codes for couple of weeks then woke up one morning and it said searching for signal so i was told by some one on here to update the firmware so i have and nothin

 

OK are you plugged directly from the incoming feed to the Cable In socket top right hand side of the EV, take away any splitters if there is any.

what if the providers are using ireland as a guinea pig?
then if they find out how to kill, well lets say 20% of boxes.
it would be a good result for the providers.

it seems awfuly strange to me why ireland is gettin hammered whilst the rest of the uk is being almost left alone, yer they change it here in uk, only its like once or twice, yet in ireland they seem to be gettin changes almost every half day.

jus seems a little wierd to me.....

its almost like they testing a new system out on ireland, then if/wen they do sort it then they will roll it out across uk.

yeah all done....... when i have the screen up where i can change the symbal rate to 6875 the bar at the bottom is green at 87% when i press ok and it searchs through the channels when i gets up to 120hhz the signal etc gets much better



some times the bars are green then red

 

Now we are not that gullible over here ROM changes to keyroll implementation was carried out on both sides of the water, believe me this problem is common with some Kuro 3 updates.

 

Thats were you are going wrong did you set start rate at 250.000 and end at 460.000 and step is still at 8 I presume? Should start picking up TPs from 274.000 onwards.

 

yes i have tried between those ranges and it seems to be the best siganls i get is when is arund the 120mhz mark???? at the moment when its searchin aroun 270 nothin its all red on 8% no green
