agreed, but what bout all the other kina of boxes, u must admit that this fu*k'd many people.

may i also ask another q.

what would it take for the providers to totaly kill the use of our boxes?
would they need to change their encryption totally

if they did what would be their cost?

would they have to change each and every household with a new box?

or simply just a new card?

i also know that nagra3 is loose now.

are they going that way? if they are can we update our boxes to accommodate it?

jus wondering as am sure a few are thinking the same thing.

120 Mhz is not valid for Ch**us they use from 274.000 to 460.000 I was just covering a lower band first.

If you input my start/stop range you should never see 120 Mhz.

OK but you should still use my range as that is valid for Ch**us. BTW if you plug the coax lead into the back of your TV, (take it out of the EV), you should be able to get around 17 channels. Do you?

Then the only way of verifing your connection here is gone as I usually use this as a way of seeing if you have a CC connection. As said there have been signal issues with Ch**us of late and maybe your area is affected.

An updated CDF, (Channel Dump File), for your area/provider is your next step.

Just in time then :) You have an issue with your cable connections either internally or you have a problem with your Ch**us connection.

The EV wont work until cable problem is resolved, check all your connections first and if they are fine contact Ch**us, sorry for the bad news.

I would say goodnight but looks like you have had a bad one. Not all is lost at least it can be fixed ;)

walshy you will have to remove your number before a mod does as its against forum rules. Unfortunately I can only go so far apologies.

To edit your post click the notepad icon to the top right of the post and delete the number. I am only saying this as you dont want your number getting into the "wrong" hands.

I really do have to leave now as up early.

Well it didn't. I waited maybe 10 minutes for it to do so and then I just went ahead and put in the keys. Am I right in thinking N*L are still changing keys regularly, so since my Eurovox has been unscramblng OK since Sunday then I'm in the all clear?
