Eurovox New Software Released.Tested and Working.

    Now I have all the channel data but when i go to one it says 'No Signal'

    Ok now make sure you have your incoming pipe in the RF IN at the back of the EV

    Have you checked your normal TV and see if there's not a signal problem in your area ?

    Also have you tried other ch@nnels on the EV like S*Y Sports etc ?

    "No Signal" indicates a problem with the cable company and not the EV

    Sorry about the delay.... visitors but I've checked with nthell pace box and all works. I did notice one thing however when I got the box on firmware version 2 last september the ONLY way I could get channels was to do a Normal scan at 6887 a powerscan didn't work. In version 2.1 there is no option for a normal scan just a power scan.

    Anyway, when i I downloaded scoucers channel data I get the no signal message but if I do a scan I get no info at all and get the channel not available message. looks like I might be at the end of the road and beaten, what do you think?

    try this

    go to menu, config, clear data and then clear ch@nnel data. Then do a normal scan from 290.000 to 403.000 using symbol rate 6887 N*L

    yes but there is no option for a normal scan just a powerscan and no ability to change it

    Try a factory default 6887 again and then clear data / ch@nnel data and then do a power scan and hopefully that works

    will do and let you know how it goes if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to wait for some of the Gurus that frequent this forum to come up with something

    I noticed that I still got no help from you guys even after posting 4 replys. I went back to have a look today (page 18) of this thread, and you still did not reply.
    Well after three weeks and countless hours... I got my box back up and running.(NO THANKS to you PEEPS)
    I dont want to see other people suffering with the same problem, and yes what it turned out to be was very simple, but i know others are having the same problem.
    I had NO transponder to scan, it wasnt doing anything just sitting on 8 p/cent.
    I went on to the tv settings and on the bottom it had signal booster which i turned on and 20 minutes later it was back on.
    I tried a booster of my own originally but that did nothing and i did not have it connected when i turned on the signal booster.
    I left this for others that like me are being IGNORED!!!!

    In response to your statement above, YOU do have to realize that the people that service and respond to this site do a hell of a lot of help for 99% of the people who post here,yourself being the rear exception,So from all us PEEPS have a nice day.

    I had a look back to page 18 and you posted 4 times within 20 mins or so , I myself would think you were a very impatient person and as we do this in our own spare time and for FREE , personally I can see why noone replied to you as its classed as multi-posting and against the forum rules.

    As the boards can become hectic at times and some posts do get overlooked , and unfortunally yours was one of them.

    Other than that , its nice to see a Newbie solving their own problems :)

    i don't think its fair toslag off something thats free personally ifind this site indispensable and as the previous poster said if you've got patience the answers are here somewhere

    Hi, When i update the channels now the screen goes black, sometimes for more than a minute. Is it a problem with my box or everone having this. Could do with a fix.

    hey all, have a quick question, if anyone can help feel free, i am updating a EURO VOX MAX V BLACK for a friend haven't done a eurovox before i just wanted to check that i uploaded the write firmware to autoroll the codes,

    Eurovox_Max-V-Black_02_07_07.bin
