    no it dosn't delete any firmware,any channel thats off air at the moment ie bbc3 or 4 will display the message code updating

    if you loose channels you can just do update channels rather than a factory reset cant rembmer now as ive not had to do it for a while but think its the red button when you go into the menu you need the channel menu ( sorry if im wrong - someone will correct me)

    If you read the forum you will notice that there is no firmware at the moment , Everyone is in the same boat !!
