    Can the update be done in windows vista, i have one of the Eurovox max V 2008 box, I have the "code updating" problem and secondly Which of the images in the link do i need to download and the link dosent seem to be working again.

    hey,
    im trying to flash my box but i dont no how...i have the equiptment but hav no idea how to do it...can some1 plzzz help me? wen i try to download n press start it just says "waiting for the responce of your reciver"...any help plzz?

    i belive it is the blue one as that is the colour of the box it came in. but i am no wiser as to how to update the thing!!

    I am also experiencing this problem and I have tried the older Kuro and turned on the signal booster but its not working for me :( I have tried all other firmware releases but none are working, is my box shagged or can it be fixed?

    Im having the same problem.. ive tried three different pcs trying to connect to 2 different black boxes..
    None connect...
    I know for a fact the serial port on my computer works as i can connect to another device using hyperterminal...

    are there 2 different kinds of serial cable?
    i specifically went to maplins and got a rs232 cable female on both ends
    is there different kinds of these cables?

    think weve got the wrong kinds of cable mate
    like ethernet, i think there are 2 flavours of cable..
    straight and crossed
    we want crossed
    we have straight ( i think )
