eurovox pvr 5000 epg problem

    I have had a eurovox pvr 5000 for a couple of weeks now but the epg is totally out of sync and the time does not seem to hold when i turn the box on/off. Do i need to reinstall the software or is the box useless. Could someone please advise as i have tried turning it on/off and setting the time quickly but this does not work. I have N*L in Kildare Ireland.

    Unplug the EV for a few seconds, then plug it back in. Immediately go to time settings, set time using GMT. When time is correct turn GMT off and press blue button to save and exit. If you are quick enough this will also work.

    DO NOT UNPLUG THE EV as it will default an hour behind and you will have to do it each time you plug it back in , leave it on STAND-BY.
