Yep in series, out of the 20dB and into the 9dB. Good Luck!

Bought a 12db attenuator from Maplins and using that along with the 0-20db from Maplins i've managed to reduce the signal and quality to 80% and hence get perfect reception... thanks for the suggestion... works a treat now.

    Hi ShaneyMac/JSCButler/anyone,

I'm still having the problem with mine - picking up no channels whatsoever. Swapped boxes with my mate and his is the same here. Tried a 12db attenuator with the variable one and no joy, bought another 12 and a 6 and tried all different combinations but nothing. I can get the reminants of a picture on a couple of channels by fiddling with the variable attenuator but cant get anything anywhere near watchable. Had Verjin out and they kindly gave me a new box because the old one was taking forever to start up but said nothing wrong with the signal :( All channels fine on Verjin box.

On EVox my signal strength bounces up and down all the time between 80 and 85 then 8 for a split second (without the attenuators). With attenuators, when I get it to bounce between 72-75 a still blocky picture appears, then it disappears and the no signal message appears... Was this happening with you???

Have been a couple of months now with no signal on all channels -thinking of just putting it back on Ebay unless anyone's got any suggestions??
