Hi all, looking for help, I have just tried to update a Eurovox Red and a Max V but having problems.I am familiar with their set up and updated both units back in April sucessfully. The problem I am having now is; I load latest software correctly on both units sucessfully, I try tuning either one in and they pick up transponders and stations but only some (maybe only 80, normally should be 120plus) and up to thirty would have no names. Then when code updates the units both keep losing signal randomly and very frequent (the lock led will flash on and off as signal goes) and if they are working reception is very glitchy. They work fine with old software and my cable is fine as it works with other units also I have tried a cable in different house with same result. I am with N*L Dublin 290mhz -420mhz symbol 6887 and it doesnt matter if signal booster is on or off same result. Anyone have same problem any help please!!!!!!!!!!Thank you.

Thanks for that just tried it and when downloaded successfully all I get is" channel not available " and there is no channels on the OK button or on the channel edit menu. I must be doing something drastically wrong here and want to start from scratch, could somebody send me a link for a tried/tested updated software for Eurovox Max V (2007) on NTHELL Dublin.
I did'nt save my CDF as I normally like to do a rescan to pick up any new stations and get rid of old stations such as men & motors.
    Thanks.

The CDF HiTeck linked you to is the updated one for your provider/area. Regards firmware they can be found in Eamos and in HiTeck's guide.

Firmware in THIS guide does work, scroll all the way down the page and you will see it listed.

Before flashing your box again do a factory default then reflash, come back if your still having problems.

    Hi,

    sorry message for Scouser...

I was trying to buy a eurovox tx in Ireland before Christmas and I received a eurovox MaxV 2008...do you think this could work with Ch***s in Ireland. I am pretty sure I have MMDS but I don't have an arial on the roof...comes straight into the house...

What you reckon? Seller reckons It could work but looking on the net I reckon not....If it does work will I just load the software for Ch***s on it?
