ive put the genuine firmware on a right few red euro clones and its worked fine upto now... touch wood!

 

yes it will for a while till the remote count reaches its amount and then it will die dont worry that is how it is done it counts the button presses on the remote so when it reaches the number set in the firmware that will be the end of the box could take weeks months days even

 

what d'ye mean by die?? will it blow a main board/power board or will it need a jtag? I not trying to be smart here just interested?

either way with the red clones there is no other option as no one made clone safe software for them. Presumably because there wasn't that many made in the first place..???
