eurovox signal problem

    lol - yea i no, i no, sounds drastic. has worked fine like that for monthes tho. thats 1 of the first things i tried when the signal 1st went dodge - stil no luck:(

    If he says which channels he is missing it may ring a bell but not 100% though ;)

    do a factory reset and then a fast scan on your corect symbol rate, as sc0ucer said some frequencies have changed in your area.

    do u know correct symbol rate , sorry i'm in merseyside. I will try it on all symbols if you have gone to bed. Thanks for all your help have a great weekend

    What channels are you missing? Press menu, installation, user installation, you will see your TPs and SR there.

    Sorry I only seen your post in my shout box. I seldom post in there. Have you checked in user installation how many frequencies can you see and what is the SR,(probably 6952)?

    Thats borderline for signal. Are you going from the direct feed or through a splitter. I still need to know how many frequencies you have in your TP index.

    Its a direct feed . I have two lines both seperate feeds from virgin. My v+ box is fine but when i put my eurovox in i can't get the sports or discovery chanels. I have 32 frequencies showing .

    OK sounds about right. Have you tried it with the on board booster on. When you turn it on you need to put it in standby and then back on for it to work.

    You could try a factory reset and powerscan again on 6952. This will mix your FAVS up a bit though. But worth a try. After that its an external booster. Its not just a TP change as those channels cover more than one.

    Hi , tried the internal booster and the picture was terrible ,better with it turned off. Going through full powerscan now ,sorry to be a pain but where do i get an external booster and what do they cost.

    Well, you're an absolute star. All chanels are back and extra ones beside. I can't thank you enough for all your help. I was almost going to buy a new box. Thanks again .
